Here are a few gems from yesterday’ sermon from Pastor Bernard
-People have erroneous beliefs that finding your purpose is an event or spectacular thing they are called to do. If this way of thinking was true, once you complete the event you have no purpose.
-Your life is filled with purpose up until the day you die. Even sometimes inĀ your death you are serving a purpose
– Your gifts, talents, abilities, skills you develop, and intellectual capacity all fit you for your purpose
-Instead of waiting for the heavens to open, the angels to sing, and God to make an announcement, focus on using and developing your gifts, talents, abilities, and skills.
-We often take our gifts talents and abilities for granted because they come so easily to us
– Purpose is not decided, it is discovered as you use your gifts, talents, and abilities
-You cannot separate your purpose from your gifts
-When your gifts, talents, and abilities meet a human need, there lies your purpose
-Your purpose is usually discovered during the course of everyday life
-God has written his will in the fibers of your being, talents, gifts, and abilities.
This was just a snippet from Pt. 1 of his teachings on purpose. Stay tuned for Pt. 2
