Top 5 Fashionistas of 2011

This year there were a lot of great moments from our favorite celebs, so this is just a recap of some of our favorite looks of the year.

5b.Kelly Rowland definitely made our list. She pulled out all the stops this year. She was definitely on her grind with the release of her new album. I have never seen Kelly look so amazing before. Kudos to her stylist.

5a. Solange has definitely set herself apart from her sister style wise. She is not afraid to experiment! I admire her style because of her use of color and the way she mixes prints and textures. She’s tied at 5 with Kelly.

4. Tika Sumpter, the new kid on the block as many people call her. She is the epitome of class and sass! Whether she wants to do a soft romantic look or pull out all the stops with something edgy, she is always on point. I love the modern twists she puts on classic pieces. I can’t wait to see what she does in 2012.

3. Lala Anthony comes in 3rd. She has been seen all over the city since the big move to New York earlier this year and since her show Lala’s Full Court Life. She is never off beat either. Lala is always photo shoot ready in my opinion. She owns every look that she rocks. This LaQuan Smith dress has to be one of my favorite looks on Lala this year.

2. Zoe Saldana had an amazing year, especially with her hit film Columbiana. I’ve always admired how low key her style was, but when she’s not walking the streets of LA she is looking fabulous at some A-List event or red carpet. She incorporated a lot of prints and textures in her wardrobe this year. She actually inspired me to step outside the box and incorporate more prints and textures in my wardrobe.

1. Of course #1 had to be FLOTUS Michelle Obama. There really isn’t much to say because we all know she is the flyest first lady ever. This Michael Kors skirt is giving me life!
