One of the most key aspects of style is what you rock on your feet. You can be bringing the heat or your style can be as cold as a winter chill. This holiday season is one of the most anticipated when it comes to sneaker pick ups. Whether you’re a sneaker fanatic or you have a special place in your heart for one, I have the guide to the purchases needed to be made this December.
Nike Lebron 9
Affectionally known as the “Pre-Heat 9’s” or “Cannon” were originally suppose to drop November 11th. Due to unknown reasons now slated for a December 2nd release. The shoe, draws inspiration from Miami’s 2010-11 preseason camp at the military base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Nike LeBron 9 “Cannon” possesses a mainly military green Fuse/Flywire upper and will first be released exclusively in Miami as a sign of appreciation and respect for LeBron’s South Florida fans and community. Can be yours for a cool $170.
Air Jordan 3
The Black/Cement Grey colorway of MJ’s third signature model was released on Black Friday. However, about a week after that (December 3rd) Jordan Brand will bless sneakerheads with a chance at the Air Jordan 3 “Black Flip”. Black elephant print dominates the majority of the base, while pebbled leather of the same color appears on the heel. It’s been nearly four years since the original release of the Air Jordan 3 “White Flip”, a sneaker regarded by many as one of the best non-og (original) colorways of the AJ3 ever. With a $175 price tag decisions will have to be made.
Air Jordan 14
As usual, Jordan Brand brings the heat with their holiday collection. The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot”, is scheduled to release on December 17th. With other colorways such as the Air Jordan 14 “Georgetown” already available at retailers, this Bulls-inspired colorway is sure to be a great addition to any collection. Black nubuck and tumbled leather make up the majority of the upper, while various red and yellow hints provide nice contrast. $160 is the damage.
Air Jordan 11
Is there a more anticipated shoe than the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” this year? With December quickly approaching, attentions are quickly turning towards the upcoming Air Jordan 11 “Concord” release. Officially set to drop on December 23rd, this OG colorway is one of the most beloved sneakers of all time. The original aspects hold true to the original with patent leather, concord purple accents and an icy sole, definitely a must have. With lines expected to surpass those of previous Air Jordan 11 releases, its worth it to brave the lines, just have $180.
With December quickly approaching time is limited. Money isn’t everyone’s strong suit at this time, but if you’re broke might as well look good.
