Lela Rose Spring 2012 is centered around the neon graveyard. She was inspired by the “unrestored and broken signs that dot the landscape of Las Vegas and Coney Island.”
In this collection Lela Rose used bleached metallic tweed, stripped paint twill, and washed out voile to “recall what was a garish glow of the new that have now faded overtime to tell a story of what was.”
The colors used in this collecton included faded lemon, periwinkle, and neon tangerine brings this collection to life.
Her collection includes stripped paint dresses with piping detail, bleached sunset tweed, and jacquard sheath dresses
Burlap double face zip front coat, cyclone paneled shorts, light bulb lace dress, threaded canvas piped jacket, bleach shell, letter blocked silk shorts
This electric orange coat and carnival print skirt had to be my favorite. I was in awe as this model walked down the runway. Nothing says spring and summer like birhgt colors and bold patterns.
I loved the softness of softness of the materials and the subtleness of the polka dots and embroidery.
The electric navy fringe was also a nice surprise. I loved how the fringe swayed. It was a site to see.
The shoes were part of the Lela Rose for Payless collection
