Haul: Spring/Summer Lip Colors featuring Inglot, Stila, and OCC Makeup

Yesterday I went to IMATS and made quite a few purchases. I didn’t go over my budget of $100 which was really awesome. I will have my full IMATS hall later on in the week. While there, I went to about every cosmetic table with lip gloss or lip stick. I was searching for the perfect colors for spring and summer. If this was a few years ago, I would be fine with just a tinted gloss, but now I am really starting to embrace lip stick and glosses with great pigments.

I purchased items from Stila and OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics), and these colors completed my spring/summer lip color arsenal along with a few lippies from Inglot. Take a look at the colors up close with swatches.

This is my first time purchasing from OCC and it won’t be my last. Their lip tars are amazing! They are heavily pigmented so you only need a very little. What I love about them the most is that it gives you the coverage of a lipstick but it is light weight like a gloss.

• Stalker is a bright blue-based red. I love the matte finish once it dries
• Katricia is a medium light purple. I was a little hesitant to purchase this color but I’m glad I did. It looks great with a gloss.
• Trollop is a  salmon pink and you only need a VERY little. At first I put way too much and I looked ridiculous, but then I tried again and put a thin layer which still provided high impact color, but it was less intense. Paired with a pink gloss and you are good to go.

I have Inglot’s slim gel lipstick in #54 which I use for my nude lip. I purchased #64 during the Chelsea Market Launch. The AMC lip gloss is an iridescent gloss that is great because it looks like different colors when the light reflects on it.

• Slim Gel lipstick #64 is a bright bubble gum pink. I love this lip color with MACs pink poodle
• AMC Lip Gloss #543 is an iridescent gloss that is sheer

I have Stila eyeshadow, but I never purchased any of the lip products. Before I go to the Stila counter I said to myself, I want to try the orange/tangerine lip trend this spring and low and behold, Stila had the perfect color.

• Outrageous is a matte lip pencil.
• Lemon Grass is like a sheer copper gloss that glides on perfectly and is a perfect pair to tone down the orange pencil.

I know most of these colors look outrageously bright, but I do not apply an excessive amount, so you won’t see me in the street looking crazy lol.
