Last week Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening event for Inglot Cosmetics new studio in New York City with my friend Kim ( www.makeupbykim-porter.com). The new studio is located in the Chelsea Market Building on the 5th floor. The event began with the press preview from 5-6pm with a tour from celebrity Makeup Artist James Vincent. He gave a tour of the studio and also the history of the brand.
Once the tour was completed we were able to take advantage of the great services they provided. There was a manicure station with celebrity manicurist Jackie, makeup stations, and also a hair station with services provided by Hair Room Service

The Mixing Station is the station that is most frequently used besides the Freedom System. The Mixing Station allows you to re-create any color from any brand or any color that has been discontinued.

They had a great selection of lashes. There were lashes that were extreme and others that were suitable for everyday use.

He used a red pencil in 854 to line and fill part of my lip. Then he used Inglot’s Slim Gel Lipstick #64 to give me a nice reddish pink lip. I loved it! The Slim Gel Lipstick cost $12 and is one of Brooklyn’s favorite products to use on clients. He also recommended cheeks and face body illuminator for a nice glow, and Freedom brow powder with duralast.
Once we left the event we received gift bags with great products. Here are the products that we received in the press preview package
Gel liner in 77, pure pigment eyeshadow in 85, lip paint in 51, under make up base, AMC lip gloss in 543, slim gel lipstick in 54, lipstick in 167, O2M breathable top coat, base coat, and nail enamel in 602, eyeshadow pearl in 446
