Yesterday was the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and even though I did not watch the awards (Knicks vs. Heat was much more entertaining) I still wanted to cover the Red Carpet. Now there were A LOT of misses on the red carpet last night, but there were a few women in particular who STOLE THE SHOW! I am talking about Halle Berry and Gwyneth Paltrow!

My vacation has come to an end. So sad, but the show must go on. Besides the Oscar’s there were other events this weekend as well. Here are a few of my favorite looks from some of our favorite celebs.

I love this look! Kerry Washington rarely disappoints and this dress looks awesome on her. The floral print is bold, but not over powering and the cranberry red pumps completed the look. Oh we can’t forget that fabulous red lip either. I am not to sure how I feel about the leopard clutch, I think it takes the look in another direction, but that does not take away from the total look. Spring is near…20 days away. We can make it!

Last Wednesday (February 16, 2011) I attended the Rebecca Minkoff Seminar hosted by the Learning Annex. I had my camera but no memory card so this was the picture I took on my Blackberry.

Rebecca Minkoff started off with the history of her company and her main struggles trying to make it in this industry. She talked about when she first started making a profit, when she hired her first employee, and also the benefits and downsides of working with department stores.
