I was over at HighSnobette a few days ago and came across these outrageous shoes from the Jan Taminiau Spring/Summer 2011 Couture Collection. These shoes are just ridiculous! I hope no one really tries to walk around in them. Not only do they defy gravity, but they will also cause numerous injuries! Kudos to the models who were brave enough to walk the runways with these very unwalkable shoes.
The only person brave (i.e. crazy) enough to wear those things is Lady Gaga. I mean, they’re just kind of awful looking and not practical at all. I don’t understand some of the stuff that makes it to the runway.
Are these the most effective walking shoes with built-in shock absorbers? I have pain in my knees (due to a meniscus tear) and I would like to try shoes that minimize stresses on my knees so that they can heal faster. Thanks.
