I applaud Rihanna for her creativity and pushing the fashion envelope, but I don’t like this new style she is trying to create. People look to her for inspiration and honestly these looks are not practical, but there will be a million girls trying to mimic what they see her do. It is great that she is switching up her style because the whole dark, architectural look is now going over board and everybody and their grandmothers are doing it. I still need more time to get used to this “Loud” look. I wonder if she is going to recreate her look with every album? That seems to be the pattern.
I feel the same way! AT this point this is what she has to do to stay revelant, because she is NOT a good singer. So she and her record label has to find ways to keep her name in ppl mouths. However, how long will that work for before people get tired of you?
Exactly. Its cool to switch up your style, but this hippie look is too much of a transformation and it does not seem authentic.
