This past Thursday, I attended the Sebago x Ronnie Fieg Nexus Project launch party. For those of you who do not know, Sebago is known for unique collaborations and their fly dockside shoes. Well Ronnie Fieg, who is the head buyer for David Z (retail sneaker store in NYC). He presented the idea to the people at Sebago and then came the Nexus Project.

The Nexus Project: Ronnie Fieg sought out the top fashion and lifestyle bloggers to create 10 limited edition shoes for Sebago. Marcus Troy, William Yan, Jake Davis, Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, and Greg Weinstein can now add designers on their resumes. Each blogger designed two shoes that represented their style. They used the best materials and actually travelled to the Sebago factory in the Dominican Republic to handmake their own shoes. They had to uphold to Sebago’s 60 year legacy of fine craftsman ship. This collection is innovative, inspiring, and groundbreaking.

The shoes are limited edition so that means limited quality. There are only 48 pairs available for purchase. Marcus Troy’s designs are the first to be released. There are 36 pairs available online and 12 pairs in the store. The docksides retail for $110. To purchase visit click here
